When Life Feels Overwhelming: Remember, God Still Cares
By Deborah Emmanuel on 10/4/2025

Have you ever felt so weighed down by life’s challenges that you began to wonder if God even sees you? If He still cares about what you’re going through? I’ve been there too. And here’s a heartfelt reminder I believe will encourage you today:
You know, sisters, life can be very overwhelming, so disheartening that sometimes we just ask ourselves if God really cares about us… if He’s still watching and seeing all the things that we are going through.
The truth is, He is seeing all of it—and He still cares.
And do you know what? He's always speaking, even when we can't hear Him. He's always there. But because our minds are overwhelmed by situations, by the circumstances that surround us, we tend not to hear Him.
When your mind is wandering, when your heart is full of pain and confusion, you can't hear Him speak. You can't see what He wants to show you, because you're not settled.
And it makes us feel like God doesn't care. Like He doesn't hear us. Like He doesn’t see what we go through. We start to wonder, “Am I still His beloved? Am I still His best child?”
But the truth is—you are. You still are.
God’s arms are wide open. His love is always present. But we often can’t see it because of the noise in our hearts.
So in those overwhelming moments, you need to learn to stay calm. Stay still. Because He is our refuge and strength—our very present help in time of need."
No matter how heavy life feels right now, never forget—you are still God’s beloved. His love hasn’t left you, and His presence is closer than you think. Be still. Rest in Him. Let Him be your refuge and strength.
He sees you. He hears you. He cares for you.
