Take a Break — Your Peace Matters
By Deborah Emmanuel on 10/13/2025

There comes a time when you need to pause.
Pause from work.
Pause from family.
Pause from relationships.
Pause from the noise around you.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused, or mentally exhausted, especially when you’re uncertain about your next step in life—it’s a sign to slow down.
Take a break. Go on a retreat. Sit with God.
Let your mind rest. Let your spirit breathe.
Your mental and emotional health are not optional, they are essential. Without clarity and peace of mind, you can’t fully pursue your purpose or hear God’s direction clearly.
“In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.” — Isaiah 30:15 (NIV)
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
Stillness is not weakness—it’s strength.
So, if anything or anyone is draining your peace, it’s okay to pull back.
Not everything that demands your attention deserves your energy.
Rest. Reset. Refocus.
Your purpose needs a healthy, whole you.
